Areas We Serve

Life Saver Pool Fence of Placer and El Dorado serves homes throughout Placer, El Dorado, Amador, and Nevada Counties. Swimming pools in Nevada must adhere to state regulations regarding pool fence barriers. Nevada regulations state that a swimming pool must be enclosed by a barrier that is at least 60’’ above the ground. Any openings between the ground and bottom of the fence must not be more than 2 inches and any openings in the fence shall not allow passage of a sphere equal to or greater than 4 inches. The out of the fence must be free of protrusions that could serve as a handhold or foothold that could enable a child below the age of five years to climb over.

Gates must be at least 60” in height above the ground and must open away from the swimming pool. The gate should be equipped with a self-closing, self-latching with latching device to be a minimum of 60” above the ground.
