How Does the Safety Buoy Pool Alarm Work?
The alarm floats on top of the water. Its unique traffic cone design makes it extra visible. Beyond visibility, it uses Sub Surface Detection Technology. In a nutshell, the Safety Buoy sounds the alarm when it detects disruptions on the surface of the water.
When the Poolguard alarm sounds, the owner must use a special “Red Key” to turn it off. The key must be held next to the small target sticker on the side of the device. After this, the alarm should stop within a few moments.
