According to The County of Nevada Swimming Pool Safety Barrier Requirements, a pool barrier must be a minimum of 60’’ in height above the ground. The gate must be a minimum of 60” (inches) in height above the ground, it must open away from the swimming pool and have a self-closing, self-latching pool safety gate, with latching device to be a minimum of 60” above the ground.
