Why Install A Life Saver Pool Fence
If your family has a swimming pool in Tennessee, we advocate ensuring that you put layers of protection in place to keep little ones safe and on solid ground.
Installing a Life Saver Pool Fence is one of the best measures you can take to provide your family with a safe and fun backyard. You cannot supervise your pool 24/7, and so installing a pool fence will help you keep your pool off limits when you need it to be. Not only are our fences safe and provide your family with a strong line of defense, they are also made out of some of the strongest materials available on the market. Let’s take a deep dive and look at what our fences are made out of.

Life Saver Pool Fence Installations in Tennessee
Residential swimming pools in Tennessee are required to adhere to state regulations regarding pool fences. Pools in Tennessee must be enclosed by a safety barrier that is at least 48 inches above the ground. The maximum vertical clearance between the fence and ground should not exceed 2 inches and the fence must not have any footholds or handholds that would enable a child to climb over the fence.
Additionally, all private swimming pools must have an access gate that is at least 48 inches tall opens outwards from the pool, and is equipped with a locking device. The pool gate must be self-closing and have a self-latching device at least 54 inches above the ground.
Finally, all residential swimming pools in Tennessee must be equipped with a pool alarm. This applies to any pool that is more than 36 inches deep including in-ground pools, above ground pools, spas and hot tubs. The alarm must be attached to the pool and be able to detect if an object or person heavier than 15 pounds enters the water. The alarm sound must be at least 50 decibels so that it can be heard from inside the home.
